I know a few people who love their warranty or are afraid of getting their phone (a real life friend of mine with a Galaxy Y) root and I can understand that. In this post I will show you how to get the Internet connection sharing 4.0 statusbar on your Samsung Galaxy Young without the need of changing system apps.
You will actually be using an app called "Internet connection sharing 4.0 Statusbar" which can be downloaded free on the Play-shop. - Click here to download.
Once you've downloaded and installed the app, start it up:

As you see above, the top right button to on to turn on the Internet connection sharing 4.0 statusbar on/off, but that's not all. You must also enable the accessibility on your phone. Instead of to go back and to settings, you can enable simply by tapping on the from -button, which should take you directly to the settings. From there all you have to do is set the accessibility and under the where you enable Internet connection sharing, see also StatusBar 4.0:

After that you are free to customize your status bar on and off of the various institutions about what to show and what not to show:
